Is Sprint a wise choice for cell phone service?

I am with AT&T currently and am very disappointed in the service I have with them because of hidden charges and (sometimes) poor customer service. I have researched T Mobile and Verizon reviews and Sprint seemed to be (although not the best) somewhat of a good company to get cell phone service through, but I need more opinions because I don't want to end up with another horrible cell phone company. So...is Sprint a wise choice for cell service ?
