YOUR OPINION: Has today's R&B artist lost it's "soul"?

Mainstream? My answer is absolutely YES! Now artist like the before mentioned Leela James can change the worst of sinicks minds. I do love Robin Thicke also...it doesn't matter that he's white, he can blow! First 2 albums were great, I haven't checked out the 3rd and latest yet...Barry White and Jeffrey Osborne will never be again. the new age of music is really bad. ual to the point that I can't play most of it...I seriously play most of the old stuff. Jodeci was a bit ual and I guess there talent was off the hook, they got a p on some of it. The mainstream was good back in the 90's...then it turned sour . the golden age of soul may be gone for good...A young lady like Leela James is good for the ears in today's music scence.
