the answer to your last question: "too see the most incredible mtns, rainforests, waterfalls, etc" is the big island....two sides to the island, touristy kona side(but beautful) and hilo side...different colored sand beaches, flowing lava, 14,ooo ft mountains, huge waterfalls, wet rain forests--big island has them all, i will never to go a different island again
