In movies/tv when someone moves to kiss a person who doesn't want to be kissed, why do they..?

Yeah, but I don't think that making sure the movie is completely realistic is the main focus of people making movies. I would simply think that they were trying to add more drama, suspense, or emotion to the scene. Most of all, they want people to be on the edge of their seats, wondering and watching, and that's what they think gets the job done. That's just how I see it.
