If the Gadhafi regime is overthrown, as the world wants, who/what replaces him?

Unlike Egypt, Libya doesn't seem to have even a Nobel laureate in the wings to help form a new government. All these revolutions lack what America had: a coterie of leaders and intellectuals behind the revolution. I can't imagine a larger power vacuum than what these countries face, Libya in particular.
